Early Friday morning, Pakistani forces commenced fire across the Line of Control (LoC), including Kupwara and Uri. This followed the Indian army's successful Thursday night stop of Pakistani military attempts to use drones and missiles to target 15 cities in northern and western India.
Following reports of drone and missile assaults by the bordering nation in Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Jammu and Kashmir, authorities activated defence systems, sirens, and imposed a total blackout in the majority of the affected districts. Although official confirmation is still pending, sources claim that Indian forces shot down a Pakistan F-16.
In reaction to the April 22 terror assault in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives, India fired 24 missiles in 25 minutes on nine terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) early on Wednesday.
