Devendra thanked the Maratha king for rising up for the nation and "Swarajya

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] March 17:On Monday, Maharashtra's CM Devendra Fadnavis inaugrated a temple to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Thane area. He commended the Maratha king for his contribution to "Swarajya" & the country.
As per the "tithi," the birth anniversary of the Maratha king was marked all over the state on Monday. Every year on February 19, the state government holds open festivities for "Shiv Jayanti."
Fadnavis said that a journey is incomplete without remembering Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, just like an image of Lord Ram is incomplete without Hanuman.
Shivaji Maharaj's work has made it possible for us to worship our gods openly today. "He fought for God, our country, Swarajya, and our religion," he said.
throughout the event, Fadnavis also talked about the current fight about historical sites in MH. Also, he talked about the demand from some right-wing groups to remove the tomb of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in Khuldabad, which is in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar area.
Fadnavis said that the government has to take care of Aurangzeb's tomb because it is a protected spot, but that the main reason for doing so is to keep the history alive, not out of love.
He said that "mahima mandan" should only be given to the temple of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and not to the tomb of Aurangzeb.
"It's too bad that the government has to protect Aurangzeb's grave, since he was attacked in the past." "But I promise you that if anyone tries to pay tribute to his memory through'mahima mandan,' they will fail," the CM said.
Also, Fadnavis said that even though Shivaji died young, his work for society has helped people pass on his legacy.
From the way people in Maharashtra act, it's clear that the state has lived up to commitments, he said.
The state's first temple to Shivaji Maharaj was established at Maradepada in the Bhiwandi area of Thane. It has murals that show the warrior king's rule and contributions, as well as building that was inspired by Maratha forts.
The temple was built by the Shivkranti Pratishthan Trust, which is led by Dr. Raju Chowdhary.
The famous artist Arun Yogiraj made the statue of Shivaji Maharaj for the temple. He had also made the idol of Ram Lalla for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
The Shivaji Maharaj temple is 2,600 square feet, there is a concrete fence around it that is 7,000 square feet.
The project includes four acres and has a unique design with 37 sections in the masonry fence. Each section shows an important event in the history of the Maratha nation.
People who respects Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, tourists, scholars are all can visit the temple.
CM said that the state government has asked UNESCO to list 12 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's forts as world heritage sites.
The government also wants to build on the property in Sangameshwar that was used to deceive Shivaji Maharaj's son Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj into giving up his freedom.
Fadnavis also said that the Maharashtra government has asked the Uttar Pradesh government to give them a cell in the Agra Fort, which is where Shivaji Maharaj was once locked up, so that a historical temple can be built there.
Dr. Chowdhary said that Shivaji Maharaj's temple is not only a place of worship, but also an important historical and educational venue that will help keep the great Maratha ruler's ideas alive and make more people aware of his military and political successes.
