Hisar (Haryana) [India], May 21: Once famous for her travel videos under the channel Travel with JO, Jyoti Malhotra now finds herself in police custody. She was arrested from her home in Hisar, Haryana, after officials claimed she had been in direct touch with a Pakistani officer named Danish. From November 2023 to March 2025, the two were said to be speaking regularly. The calls and chats between them have now put Jyoti under serious suspicion.
Online Fame That Turned Risky
Jyoti had more than 3.7 lakh subscribers, and her travel vlogs often showed beautiful destinations and cultural experiences. Her viewers never imagined that behind those videos, she was also talking to someone from the Pakistan High Commission. Her laptop and phones were taken by the police, who are now checking all her files. This case shows that even the online world is not free from danger and tricks.
Agencies Step In With Serious Questions
Soon after her arrest, top Indian agencies like the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) started asking her questions. Her links with other influencers are also being checked. Many believe she was being used by people from across the border. Police say Danish, the man from Pakistan, was trying to train her and use her as an asset. The officials are now working to see how deep this network goes.
