Asia Cup 2025 Set to Begin Sept 9: Eight Nations Compete; Big India-Pakistan Clash on Sept 14 in Dubai
The 2025 T20 Asia Cup is scheduled to begin on September 9.This is the first time in tournament history that eight teams will compete.

New Delhi (India) September 8: The 17th edition of the Asia Cup begins on September 9. Defending champions India will be playing to win their eighth title.
Afghanistan and Hong Kong will play in the tournament's opening match at Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Stadium. India's campaign in the cup will start against the United Arab Emirates in Dubai on September 10.
The most awaited match between India and Pakistan will be played on Sunday, September 14.

Sony Ten Sports will broadcast live coverage of every Asia Cup match. Sony LIV's website and app will also offer the live streaming.
18 of the Asia Cup's 19 games will start at 8 PM IST. The UAE vs. Oman match in Abu Dhabi is only scheduled to start at 5:30 PM IST.
Eight teams will be put into two groups for the first round. The top two teams of each group will qualify for the Super Four. The winning teams will play the Final.
Group A includes India, Oman, Pakistan, and United Arab Emirates. Group B includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka.
