Talha Saeed slams Pakistani Minister Bilawal Bhutto for his extradition remarks

New Delhi (India) July 7: Talha Saeed, son of Lashkar-e-Taiba leader Hafiz Saeed, has reportedly criticised Pakistan's former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for saying that the nation has no problem with sending "individuals of concern" to India.

According to reports, Talha said, “His statement is against state policy, national interest, and sovereignty, and we strongly condemn it.”

Talha stated that the Pakistani government needs to demand the extradition of Indian officials rather than offering the extradition of Pakistani people. Bhutto's credibility was also called into question by him, who claimed that his family had a history of supporting the Indian and Western narrative against Pakistan.

Talha stated that Bhutto's remarks on his father had embarrassed Pakistan internationally.

He said, "Bilawal Bhutto's suggestion to hand over his father to India, a hostile country, is unacceptable and will be opposed by us and our community.”

In a video posted on X On Sunday afternoon, Hafiz Talha Saeed, the son of Hafiz Saeed, attacked Bhutto, saying the leader of the Pakistan People's Party "is not a true Muslim" and calling for an apology.

The US Treasury Department has classified Saeed and his son Talha as global terrorists.

The Pakistan Markazi Muslim League, an organisation of LeT/Jamaat-ud-Dawa, issued a statement asserting that the Indian State was the mastermind of heinous terror activities in Pakistan and globally, and that India played a role in terrorism in Pakistan.

In an interview on Friday, Bilawal stated that his nation had no problem with the extradition of "individuals of concern" to India as a move to promote confidence, provided that New Delhi was prepared to work with him.

As per sources, his remarks were in answer to a query concerning the extradition of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Hafiz Saeed as potential good-faith gestures and concessions.

Bhutto claimed, “India is refusing to comply with certain basic elements that require that conviction to take place.”

He also said, “It’s important to present evidence within these courts, for people to come over from India to testify, to put up with whatever the counter-accusations will be.”

Bhutto stated that Hafiz Saeed is in the hands of the Pakistani government and rejected that he is a "free man.” He added, “As far as Masood Azhar is concerned, we have been unable to arrest him or identify him. It is our belief that he is in Afghanistan.”

According to the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), Pakistan has banned both LeT and JeM.

The mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror assault, Hafiz Saeed, is presently serving a 33-year sentence for funding terrorism. NACTA has banned Masood Azhar, a UN-designated global terrorist.
