CBSE releases Class 10th and Class 12th results; 93.66% pass rate of Class 10th

The results of the Class 10 and 12 board exams have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students can visit cbse.gov.in to see their results.

CBSE releases Class 10th and Class 12th results; 93.66% pass rate of Class 10th

New Delhi (India) May 13: The Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2025 have been released by the CBSE. The overall pass percentage for Class 10 is 93.66%, which is a little higher than last year.

The 2025 Class 10 results have been formally issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students can now use their roll number, school number, and admit card ID to view their scores online. For convenience, the results are available on several official websites.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan posted “Heartiest congratulations to all my young friends and their parents, who have successfully cleared the CBSE Class XII and Class X examinations,” on social media platform X.

A total of 23,71,939 students attended out of the 23,85,079 who registered for the CBSE Class 10 results. This year's overall pass percentage is 93.66, with 22,21,636 students passing in total.

The top-performing regions are Trivandrum and Vijaywada. From these areas, 99.79% of students pass.

In the 2025 CBSE Class 10th board exam, girls performed better than boys by 2.37 percentage points.

In the Class 10 board exam this year, 141353 students, or 5.96 percent, were placed in the Compartment category by the CBSE.

Up to 199944 students got 90 percent or more on their CBSE Class 10 exams.

With a 99.49% pass rate in the CBSE Class 10 exams 2025, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) schools came in first place, followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) with a 99.45% pass rate. Also, independent (private) schools did well, with a 94.17% pass rate.

The pen-and-paper CBSE Class 10 board exams took place from February 15 to March 18, 2025. Exams in 84 subjects were taken by 24.12 lakh CBSE Class 10 students this year.
