CBSE releases Class 12th results; Class 10th results to be out soon, check now
The results of the Class 12 board exams have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The results for Class 10 will be released at any time today.

New Delhi (India) May 13: The results of the Class 12 Senior School Certificate Examination 2025 were released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on May 13 and students can check their results on cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in. The exams this year took place between February 15 and April 4, 2025. Out of the 17,04,367 students who registered, 16,92,794 took the tests, and 14,96,307 of them passed. The total pass percentage for 2025 is 88.39%, which is 0.41% higher than the 87.98% pass percentage from the year before.
Students must use their roll number and birthdate to log in to the official result portal in order to see their CBSE board results for 2025.
Students will be able to see their results on the UMANG apps as well .
In the 2025 CBSE Class 12 exams, 1,11,544 students—or 6.59% of the total candidates—scored higher than 90%. These high scores showcase the quality of this year's top-performing students and serve as examples of consistent academic performance .
Students must get at least 33% in all subjects—including theory, practicals, and internal assessments—in order to pass Class 12. Students in class 12 are required to pass a minimum of five subjects, including one language.
With a 91.64% success rate compared to 85.70% for boys, girls have once again beaten boys in the CBSE Class 12 exams. The 5.94% margin is consistent with the pattern observed in previous years. Notably, the pass percentage for transgender students increased from 50% in 2024 to 100%.
With an outstanding 99.60% pass percentage, Vijaywada topped all other regions, followed by Trivandrum (99.32%) and Chennai (97.39%). With a 79.53% pass rate, Prayagraj was the least successful region.
5,280 of the 5,668 CWSN (Children With Special Needs) students who took the Class 12 examinations succeeded, earning them a reputable 93.15% success percentage.To lessen academic pressure and unhealthy competitiveness, CBSE implemented a Relative Grading system for the 2024–25 academic year.
