USA November 19: The US report says China pushed a strong disinformation plan against French Rafale jets. This started soon after the India Pakistan conflict ended in May. The report adds that China used fake online accounts. These accounts tried to show Rafale jets as weak. They also promoted China’s J-35 fighter jets. The use of AI images and false debris pictures played a key role. The story felt shocking for many readers as the Rafale has high trust in India. The timing of the drive raised many questions.

History of Rafale and Rise of Fake Images

Rafale jets have a long history from France. They were first tested in the late 1980s. Over time the jets became a symbol of strong air power. India bought Rafales to boost its Air Force after years of planning. Fake images used against them tried to break this trust. The report says China took this chance after the border clash ended. They tried to show AI and video game graphics as real proof. This shows how digital tricks are used in modern battles. The campaign aimed to push J-35 sales in global markets.

India-Pakistan Conflict Creates Stage for Misleading Claims

The conflict between India and Pakistan started when Pakistan attacked India. Missiles and drones hit several Indian cities. India replied with strength. After this, some false posts appeared online. They claimed Rafale jets failed in the fight. The US report says these posts were part of the same plan. French intelligence had also warned about this months ago. They said Chinese defence staff in embassies pushed the fake story. The goal was to stop countries from buying Rafale jets in the future.

China’s Push for Global Weapon Sales

The report says China also tried to boost its weapon image. They used the conflict to show the J-35 and other systems as successful. They posted edited photos and false videos. These claimed that Chinese systems destroyed Rafale jets. Indonesia even paused its Rafale deal for some time. China also joined many defence drills with Pakistan. These included Warrior-VIII drills and the AMAN naval event. China later offered 40 J-35 jets to Pakistan along with other systems. Pakistan raised its defence budget soon after.

Political Response and India’s Firm Stand

Indian political leaders also reacted to the US report. A BJP leader asked who helped spread the fake story in India. He pointed out that the Indian Air Force had clearly said no Rafale was lost. He said sharing numbers during conflict harms national safety. In May India launched Operation Sindoor. This was to answer the killing of 26 people in a terror attack. India destroyed terror bases in Pakistan and POK. The strong action showed that India trusted its systems. Rafale jets remained an important part of India’s air strength.
