Donald Trump won't allow ‘mob rule’ confirms the White House amid violent protests in Los Angeles
According to the Donald Trump administration, the US president would not permit "mob rule" in the country.

New Delhi (India) June 12: The White House had declared on Wednesday that US President Donald Trump will not permit "mob rule" in response to growing anti-immigration protests in Los Angeles.
Karoline Leavitt, press secretary for the Trump administration has claimed that the White House is attempting to identify the source of money for the demonstrators. Trump has recently referred to the demonstrators as "paid insurrectionists". He had also said that the demonstrators were equipped with expert anti-riot equipment.
Karoline Leavitt said, “President Trump will never allow mob rule to prevail in America. The most basic duty of the government is to preserve law and order, and this administration embraces that sacred responsibility."
Leavitt also stated that the Democratic mayor of Los Angeles and governor of California had "demonised brave ICE officers" and "fanned the flames" of the fights.
She said, "Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass shamefully failed to meet their sworn obligations to their citizens.”
The administration of California Governor Gavin Newsom has filed a lawsuit against the United States for sending 4,000 National Guard members and 700 Marines to the city to put an end to protests.
The Los Angeles mayor and governor has also questioned the federal government's decision to send the US National Guard.
Trump's actions have drawn criticism from California officials who have said that the force deployment is needless and will only increase the problem. Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, has referred to the president's actions as "dictatorial" and "un-American."
The majority of the protests have been nonviolent, but some have been violent, with police being stoned and self-driving taxis being set on fire. In response, the authorities have used tear gas and other non-lethal weapons.
As part of Trump's crackdown on illegal immigrants, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials conducted raids throughout Los Angeles on June 6, which had caused demonstrations. Civil rights organisations and local communities were angry by the act and referred to the raids as unjust and oppressive. Soon after, the demonstration turned into violent clashes with law officers, leading to the deployment of National Guard troops.
