New Delhi (India) September 23: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has declared his intention to go to Zoho. It is an Indian substitute for Google and Microsoft in terms of productivity software. He urged people to embrace indigenous platforms and services in order to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swadeshi drive.

Minister’s Move to Zoho

Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that he was moving to Zoho. It is an indigenous software suite. The Minister of Electronics and Information Technology said, "I am moving to Zoho, our own Swadeshi platform for documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. ???????? I urge all to join PM Shri @narendramodi Ji’s call for Swadeshi by adopting indigenous products & services” in a post on social media platform X.

Vaishnav adds, "This is phenomenal. I am so impressed with the capabilities of Zoho." He advised people to follow Prime Minister Narendra Modi's advice to use domestic goods and services.

CEO's Response

Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu responds by saying, “Thank you Sir, this is a huge morale boost for our engineers who have worked hard for over two decades to build our product suite. We will make you proud and make our nation proud. Jai Hind.”

Zoho’s Global Recognition

Zoho is one of the few Indian software firms that has gained widespread international recognition without significantly depending on outside funding. It is now a reliable substitute for multinational huge companies like Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce. It is because of its consistent expansion.

Despite being US-incorporated, Zoho maintains a strong "Made in India" philosophy. It has based the majority of its business activities in rural Tamil Nadu. It has customers ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups. The company boasts over 100 million users in more than 150 countries.

Expanding AI Capabilities

Zoho has also been making significant investments in AI. It has introduced its own AI agents and a large language model (LLM). This is to increase productivity and lessen dependency on outside technology.

The startup has introduced Zia Agent Studio. It is a no-code platform that enables companies to develop AI-powered "digital employees." These agents are able to find new business possibilities, analyze sales opportunities, and screen individuals. The Zia Agent Marketplace now offers over 25 AI agents that can be used right away.

Government’s Swadeshi Focus

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that India would take a significant step toward creating an Atmanirbhar Bharat. He emphasized the need of swadeshi techniques and high-quality manufacturing. This is in order to boost the country's economy.

The Prime Minister urged people to actively support Indian-made products. He highlighted the fact that every citizen's shopping decisions may promote the progress of the country. He advised manufacturing facilities in India to concentrate on meeting international standards.
