4th June 2023,Mumbai: In a recent sighting, Mumbai photographers captured Alia Bhatt’s visit to her sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor’s residence on a Saturday. Accompanying her was Raha, the daughter of Alia and her husband Ranbir Kapoor, who had also shared screen space with Kareena in the film “Udta Punjab.”
Outside Kareena’s Bandra home, Alia Bhatt was spotted by paparazzi, clad in white attire, holding little Raha. Conscious of protecting her child’s face from the camera lenses, Alia took extra care to keep Raha hidden. The presence of Raha’s nanny added an additional layer of security.
Taimur, Kareena’s own child, observed Alia and Raha as they departed and made their way to the car. His actions seemed to convey some form of communication towards them.
Alia’s fans expressed appreciation for the paparazzi’s decision to respect Raha’s privacy by not revealing her face in the captured footage. “Good to see you are protecting her privacy,” commented one person, while another wrote, “Awwiee Alia with Raha.”
Alia and Ranbir had previously made a request to the paparazzi to respect their daughter’s privacy when taking photographs. Ranbir had discussed this matter on Kareena’s podcast, “What Women Want.” He emphasized their intention to provide Raha with a normal upbringing and not make her feel excessively unique or different from other children. “Just let her have a typical life, please,” he appealed. The couple wanted to ensure that Raha grows up in an environment that allows her to attend school without undue attention. Ranbir expressed concern about Raha feeling left out in the future, comparing her potential experiences with those of Taimur and Jehangir. He highlighted the need for balance in media coverage, stating, “Mere toh koi pictures he nahi le raha” (No one is even taking my pictures).
While Taimur and Jehangir have often been in the spotlight, Kareena and Saif Ali Khan have accepted it as part of their public life. Kareena emphasized the importance of treating everyone equally, fostering respect for privacy, and acknowledging the media’s role. “If I show respect, I will also be shown respect, so pictures of my children are taken. I am unable to request or plead for it. However, if I treat everyone equally, they will respect our right to privacy. And to be honest, it’s worked,” Kareena shared.
Amidst the attention on celebrity kids, Alia Bhatt’s commitment to safeguarding Raha’s privacy has garnered admiration from fans and reinforces the significance of respecting boundaries in the public eye.
