31 October 2023, Mumbai: Bhuvan Bam, a renowned YouTuber and content creator, has expanded his horizons into mainstream entertainment and ventured into acting. Now, he’s set to embrace the legacy of the beloved 90’s show, Takeshi’s Castle.

In the Indian reboot, Bhuvan will provide commentary in the voice of his well-known character, Titu Mama. Pinkvilla conducted an exclusive interview with Bhuvan Bam, where he delved into his decision to join the show, discussed its unique selling points, and more.

Bhuvan Bam Explains New Takeshi’s Castle Season’s Relatability

When questioned by Pinkvilla about what sets the show apart amid a multitude of reality shows and competitions, Bhuvan Bam stated,  “I feel, that this show, still has that innocence. If I’ve evolved from what I was fifteen years back, in terms of maturity; the show is still the same. So, it will take me back to those times. I feel this is the plus point of this season of the show.”

Bhuvan Bam’s Passion for Takeshi’s Castle Shines Through

The comedian-turned-actor admitted his strong inclination towards becoming a commentator for Takeshi’s Castle due to his childhood admiration for the show. He elaborated,  “And the majority of people watching this, have grown up watching. It’s a dream come true to see Titu Mama on that poster.”

He revealed his excitement in watching the show right after returning from school, eagerly anticipating its broadcast. Additionally, he admitted to catching the repeat telecast of the episode the following day.
