27th June 2023, Mumbai: Cardi B, the popular American rapper and singer, has responded vehemently to accusations made by her husband, Offset, regarding her alleged infidelity with another man. Taking to Twitter spaces on Monday, the 30-year-old artist unleashed her frustrations and defended herself against the claims. She also issued statements to her fans, urging them to disregard Offset’s accusations.
Cardi B addressed the situation, “First of all, let me say, you can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of. Sing it with me, y’all!” She expressed her disappointment with Offset’s tendency to blame her, And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!”
The “La Bebe” singer advised her followers not to pay attention to Offset’s claims, referring to him as a “country man.” She emphasised that she has never betrayed her husband’s trust nor engaged in adultery. Cardi B reminded everyone of her public persona, stating, “Come on, now. I’m Cardi B. I think sometimes motherfkers forget I’m Cardi B. If I was giving this p*y to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody.”
In her defence, Cardi B highlighted the challenges of being involved with an ordinary individual, stating that they would inevitably expose their affair to the world. Similarly, she explained that she cannot pursue a romantic relationship within the industry, as they too would reveal their involvement. Concluding her remarks, she urged Offset to stop playing games and to take the matter seriously, exclaiming, “Stop acting stupid. The fk? Stop playing. That’s all I’mma motherfking say because for real, let’s be serious.”
Previously, Offset had accused Cardi B, the mother of their two children, of being unfaithful. Although he later deleted the Instagram story, he posted, “My wife f**ked a N—a on me gang yall n—as know how I come.”
Cardi B and Offset became engaged in 2017 after several months of dating. Together, they share a four-year-old daughter named Kulture and a 21-month-old son named Wave.
