Recently, Gadar 2 found itself embroiled in a controversy when a leaked romantic video of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, shot in a Gurudwara, surfaced on the internet. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) criticized the scene and expressed their displeasure on social media. Gurcharan Singh Grewal, the General Secretary of SGPC, condemned Sunny Deol’s actions.
