31 May 2023, Mumbai: Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma’s latest release, Jogira Sara Ra Ra, has unfortunately turned out to be a box office disaster. The film, which hit the theaters on May 26, has failed to attract a substantial audience and has shown no signs of growth in its first five days. This lack of interest from moviegoers has led to a disappointing box office performance for the film.

From the very beginning, Jogira Sara Ra Ra struggled to gain momentum. On its opening day, the film only managed to collect a meager Rs 50 lakh. As the days passed, the situation did not improve significantly. By Day 5, which was May 30, the film’s total domestic box office collection stood at approximately Rs 1.83 crore to Rs 2 crore. Such underwhelming numbers indicate that the film is likely to be pulled out of theaters soon if the trend continues. Jogira Sara Ra Ra revolves around the story of two lead characters played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma. Produced by Naeem A Siddiqui of Touchwood Multimedia Creations, with Kiran Shyam Shroff as the creative producer, the film falls into the genre of family comedy. Besides Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma, the movie also features Sanjay Mishra and Mahaakshay Chakraborty in supporting roles. It is worth mentioning that Kushan Nandy, the director of the film, previously collaborated with Nawazuddin Siddiqui on the movie Babumoshai Bandookbaaz in 2020.
Despite the mixed reviews received from critics, Jogira Sara Ra Ra failed to make a mark among the audience. Its disappointing box office collection and lack of audience turnout have branded it as a major letdown. The film’s future in theaters seems uncertain, and unless a miraculous turnaround happens, it is highly likely to fade away from the big screen soon.
