22nd June 2023, Mumbai: Tiku Weds Sheru, the movie Nawazuddin Siddiqui is preparing for release, is about to hit theatres. In a commercial, he brags about himself before requesting marriage offers. Hrithik Roshan is also mentioned in the advertisement. Under her company Manikarnika Films, Kangana Ranaut produced the movie. Kangana’s assertions that she once had an affair with Hrithik have led to a protracted, unpleasant argument between the two of them.
“Sheru miya ki toh baat hi kuch alag hai!” was the caption used when Nawazuddin posted the advertisement on social media. “The most desirable bachelor is in the room right now! Sheru is a unique individual; he is not the most sought-after bachelor for nothing. Dekhiye inki rollercoaster voyage of love, jald hi. Watch his romantic rollercoaster adventure soon.”
Nawazuddin, who goes by Sheru in the video, describes himself as a “chhoti moti filmo ka bada producer (big producer of small films)” before displaying pictures he has taken with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan. Hrithik Roshan wasn’t present, which is why his image is missing, he continues, “Hrithik gaya hua tha isliye nahi hai.”
As he continues to discuss his criteria for a compatible match, he is reminiscent of his well-known Gangs of Wasseypur 2 phrase, “sabka badla lega Faizal.” “Main aisi ladki dhund raha hu jo mera dhyaan rakhe lekin mujhse zyada mere bhai ka, baap ka, dada ka sabka dhyaan rakhe,” he says in the same tone.
(I am looking for a female who not just takes care of me but more than that, also take care of my brother, father, grandfather, all of them).” He continues to deceive by claiming that he respects everyone and does not have any bad habits.
He continues, “Girls who want better lives and are interested in me can send me their biodata,” in Hindi, proving his worth. “I’ll read it, assess your personality, and find out more about your house and family before I ever consider getting married to you.” His desperation is soon apparent, though, as he nearly stands up from his chair upon hearing that he has received a marriage proposal.
Tiku Weds Sheru, directed by Sai Kabir Srivastav, features Avneet Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Avneet is portrayed as Tiku, who chooses to wed Nawazuddin and relocate to Mumbai. On June 23, it will become available on Amazon Prime Video.
Since a few years ago, Kangana and Hrithik have been at odds. When she claimed to have had an affair with him for Krrish 3, Kangana referred to him as her “silly ex.” However, Hrithik had dismissed the rumour as fake and declared, “I would rather have an affair with Pope.” He had served her with a legal notice, alleging that she had harassed him mentally.
