29th June 2023,Mumbai: The marriage of actor Rukhsar Rehman and director-producer Faruk Kabir, which they tied the knot in 2010, is at its lowest point.
According to a source, “The two had been having a lot of issues for the past few months and despite numerous meetings, they were unable to come to an amicable agreement. As a result, they are now Involving families and moving towards divorce. Their decision has been made clear to their family members. In fact, they have already convened in person to talk about it.”
The source states that there are many theories around the reasons, including infidelity, but it wouldn’t be appropriate to remark because nothing has been made clear yet.
We are also informed that Rehman is searching for more work. “She wants to concentrate on her profession because her daughter is preoccupied with her own career. She has kept a quiet profile for the past few years but is a very strong woman who is constantly seeking to improve”, according to the source.
For the benefit of the uninitiated, Rehman previously wed Asad Ahmed; the couple had a daughter, Aisha Ahmed, who is also an actor. They eventually divorced after realising that their marriage would not last.
With Deepak Anand’s Yaad Rakhegi Duniya, Rehman made her Bollywood debut alongside Aditya Pancholi. Additionally, she appeared in the films PK, God Tussi Great Ho, and Khuda Hafiz 2.
In movies like Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Asoka, Kabir first gained experience as an assistant director. In 2006, he made his directing debut with the short film The Awakening, which starred Ajay Devgn. The film Allah Ke Banday, in which he also performed and directed, brought him recognition.
