Epstein Files Set for Explosive Release: Trump DOJ to Unveil Sex Trafficker Secrets on Friday
Theories about the personal life of Jeffrey Epstein will probably be clarified with a kind of moment of insight on Friday by the long-waited opening of documents concerning the bad-guy dead financier and sex trafficker.

New Delhi (India) December 19: On Friday (December 17, 2025), the Justice Department under President Donald Trump needs to make public a large amount of files regarding various investigations that the department conducted and the late financier and sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. This comes after Congress has passed with an overwhelming majority a bill that compels their disclosure last month.
Bill Forces Long-Delayed Disclosure
The law came after several months of political fights and a revolt of some of Mr. Trump's most loyal supporters over his administration's long resistance to the disclosure of the records.
It is still uncertain the way the documents will be made available on Friday (December 17), or the time of the release, but probably, they will not represent all unclassified records that the agency has. The legislation gave the Department of Justice the authority to keep the parts of the file that contain the private information of Epstein's victims and any material that would reveal the details of a secret investigation.
Trump's Flip-Flop Amid Backlash
Mr. Trump at first called on the Republicans to vote against the law mentioning that the disclosure of the internal investigative records might be the most sensitive part of the situation could be used as a very negative example. Despite the fact that the White House was reaching out to senators in a very discreet manner to request them to proceed with the Bill at a slow pace, he made a public volte-face, announcing that he was in favor of the vote, literally just before the voting session.
However, a large number of Mr. Trump supporters claimed that his administration was responsible for the cover-up of Epstein's connections to influential people and for hiding the facts related to his death in a jail in Manhattan in 2019. Epstein was found dead while he was awaiting trial on charges of abuse and the trafficking of underage girls.
Democrats Drop Shocking Island Photos
While the dispute was going on, the Democratic members disclosed another set of pictures from Epstein's island and his estate. Over 60 pictures were released to the public without any further explanation.
The new revelations have among their photos the one of the philosopher Noam Chomsky sitting on a plane with Epstein, the pictures of Bill Gates with the women whose faces were blurred out.
The pictures comprise of passports of foreign females, an image showing Epstein with some women whose faces were blurred for privacy, and some photographs that depict his relations with influential people. There are some pictures that display some quotes taken from Lolita which were written on a woman’s body.
