Everyone Must Work Together for a Developed India – CA Shankar Andani, President, ECCI

New Delhi:
The Elite Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ECCI), in association with the Himalayan Aashiyana Trust, organized the Education Conclave at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi. The speakers at the event emphasized that the New Education Policy (NEP) is the need of the hour, bringing several positive changes and helping youth evolve from job seekers to job creators.

Addressing the fifth conclave, CA Shankar Andani, President of ECCI, stated that building a Developed India requires collective efforts from all sections of society. He stressed the importance of unity beyond religion and caste, urging everyone to come together for national progress.

CA Shankar Andani highlighted that rapid progress is being made under the New Education Policy, with educational institutions playing a vital role. He noted that India’s education system is witnessing meaningful and relevant changes, restoring its original essence and paving the way for a knowledge-based society.

He added that ECCI has been consistently working in the field of education, benefitting youth across the country. The ongoing educational transformation has been made possible through joint efforts by the government and academicians.

The ECCI President further stated that the Chamber provides a platform for educators, policymakers, teachers, industrialists, and government representatives to discuss and review the remarkable progress under the NEP, and to shape the roadmap ahead.

Speaking about the Prime Minister, Andani said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s transformative vision is clearly reflected in the New Education Policy. By making education the focal point of India’s development journey, NEP has become a national mission steering the nation toward the goal of Developed India 2047. Institutions like ECCI, he added, play a crucial role in this mission.

The special event was graced by Chief Guest Suresh Pachouri, BJP leader and former Union Minister, who presented awards to individuals for their outstanding contributions to society. He also congratulated ECCI for its dedicated efforts and wished continued success to the organization.

The event was also addressed by AICTE COO Buddha Chandrasekhar, AAFT Chancellor Sandeep Marwah, Shobhit University Chancellor Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, CA Deen Dayal Agrawal, and ICCI President Dr. Kailash Bihari Singh.

It is noteworthy that ECCI is one of the country’s leading industrial organizations, known for its work across various sectors of national importance.
