JEE Advanced 2025 Results announced by IIT Kanpur; check details
Results for JEE Advanced 2025 were released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur on Monday, June 2.

New Delhi (India) June 2: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur announced the JEE Advanced result on June 2. The date of this year's JEE Advanced exam was May 18, 2025. There were two shifts for the exam. The hours of Paper 1 and Paper 2 were 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., respectively. On May 25, the JEE Advanced provisional answer key was released and candidates had till May 27 at 5 p.m. to voice objections.
The IIT Delhi zone's Rajit Gupta scored 332 out of 360 to achieve All India Rank (AIR) 1.
Saksham Jindal, who is also from the IIT Delhi zone received the same score of 332 and achieved an AIR 2 because of the tie-breaking criteria.
IIT Kanpur issued a statement saying, “AAT registration for JEE (Advanced) 2025 will be open from 2nd June, 2025, 10:00 IST to 3rd June, 2025, 17:00 IST. Please visit the Candidate Portal to register for AAT.”
IIT Kharagpur zone's Devdutta Majhi, who received 312 out of 360 points on the CRL 16, became the All India female topper.
There are 1,87,223 registered candidates for JEE Advanced 2025. 1,80,442 candidates out of 1,87,223 appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. There were 54,378 qualifying candidates in all out of which 9,404 were female.
All applicants who took the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced can view their results on the official JEE Advanced website, jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced Final Answer Key for Papers 1 and 2 has been made available by the Institute along with the results.
The total of the scores earned in chemistry, physics, and mathematics is used to determine the aggregate scores in JEE Advanced. Candidates must meet both the overall and subject-specific qualifying scores in order to be listed in the JEE Advanced 2025 rank list.
On June 3 at 5 PM IST, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process for 2025 will begin. The eligible students can register and submit their choices for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) through the official portal, josaa.nic.in.
Candidates are advised to often visit the official JoSAA website for complete information on the counselling timetable, seat allocation procedure and other important developments.
