Modi Warns Pakistan After Operation Sindoor, Stresses Zero Tolerance

Jalandhar (Punjab) [India], May 13: During his recent visit to Adampur Air Base, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Indian Armed Forces for their efforts in Operation Sindoor. The mission targeted several terrorist bases across the border. As Modi chanted “Vande Mataram” with soldiers, Pakistan responded strongly, rejecting India’s statement and urging peace. This is not the first time both nations have locked horns over such operations.

Operation Sindoor: A Strong Military Move

Operation Sindoor was India’s reply to a deadly terrorist attack that took place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam. On April 22, many innocent people lost their lives in a brutal incident linked to terrorists from across the border. The Indian government decided not to stay silent. On May 7, Indian forces launched strikes that damaged multiple terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK).

What Did PM Modi Say?

In his speech, Modi clearly stated that India believes in peace but will never step back if challenged. He also mentioned that India had only paused its retaliation, not ended it. Modi said, “Terror and talks cannot happen together,” adding that “water and blood cannot flow together.” This was seen as a direct warning to Pakistan to avoid future support to terrorists.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry Response

Soon after Modi’s strong words, Pakistan’s foreign office released a statement. They said India’s speech was full of blame and would only create more tension. However, they also said Pakistan wants peace and will stick to the recent ceasefire agreement. But they warned that if attacked again, they will respond with full strength. The world is now closely watching both sides.

Drones Spotted Again: Border Remains Alert

Even after the ceasefire was announced, drones were seen flying near Punjab and Jammu. People living in these border areas are scared, but the Indian army remains alert and ready. The ceasefire deal was supported by global leaders, including the US President. Still, the situation is sensitive. Both countries need to be careful so that peace can be maintained.
