Mumbai Art Week 2025: Where Every Artwork Tells a Story

Every corner of the Srijanika Art Gallery in Navi Mumbai will sparkle with artistic spirit from 13th to 20th April 2025. Mumbai will witness a week of art, culture, and inspiration, where you can step into the world of Indian creativity. This eight-day exhibition is not just an event—it’s a celebration. Held at Nexus Seawoods Mall, this show will present a beautiful journey of how Indian art is blooming, growing, and telling stories that words cannot express. The event is curated by the siddhARTha karmakar Art Foundation and organised by the creARTors collective.
To give space and shine to every artist, the event is divided into two parts. Phase one will run from 13th to 16th April, and phase two from 17th to 20th April. Each phase will show different artworks and styles. The event will be in two phases with one grand experience, where every visit feels fresh and new. This way, visitors will experience something fresh on every visit and artists will get the love and focus they truly deserve.
More than 155 artists will be a part of this mega exhibition. From famous names to new faces, each artwork will bring its own flavour. The event will feature artists from every corner of India, creating a melting pot of talent and vision. From painting and photography to digital and printmaking, every piece will reflect the heart of its creator.
The FREEDOM exhibition held at the same venue in 2024 had left everyone in awe. That success gave birth to this bigger and bolder show. Mumbai has always been a hub for art—from the days of Jehangir Art Gallery to this modern space at Nexus Seawoods. This event continues that legacy while also giving space to today’s brave voices and fresh ideas.
Art is often seen as expensive, but this event breaks that wall. Here, even students, first-time buyers, and casual visitors can find affordable, beautiful art. It’s not only about looking—it’s about owning a story, a feeling, a dream. Every purchase supports the artists and becomes a part of your own world at home or office.
The grand opening on 13th April at 5 PM will be graced by artists Vijayraaj Bodhankar and Sumana Dey. Senior guests like Mangesh Chorge, Vandana Deshmukh, Sunil Wagle, Neeta Samant, Rahul Mhetre, and Shetall Mahajan will add to the warmth. Curator Siddhartha Karmakar and gallery owners Girija Shankar Deo and Sweta Deo will welcome everyone to a world full of emotion, colour, and imagination.
