2nd July 2023,Mumbai: In the upcoming Gadar 2 film, Ameesha Patel will reprise her role as Sakina with Sunny Deol in the role of Tara Singh. They both collaborated on the first film, Gadar, which was a huge box office success as Sakina and Tara Singh. The audience’s reactions to the teaser and the opening song, Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava, were varied when they were just published. Ameesha Patel recently posted a slew of tweets in which she accused Gadar 2 producer Anil Sharma of gross mismanagement on the set.
Gadar 2 director and producer Anil Sharma and his productions were criticised by the actress for gross mismanagement on the set in a series of tweets she shared on June 30. She sent a thank-you email to Zed Studios for intervening just in time and taking care of things.
Ameesha Patel and the crew encountered mismanagement while filming in Chandigarh for the upcoming movie Gadar 2, which left them in disbelief. Patel wrote, “Another concern of fans has been about certain incidents regarding ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS to have taken place in regards to the final schedule of GADAR 2 that took place end May in CHANDIGARH!!” in reference to the production company.
The complaint goes on after this. The 47-year-old actress disclosed that Zed Studios had to pay dues for certain members because they had not received their fees. Ameesha remarked that Anil Sharma Productions’ administration was appalling and that the costs for lodging and transportation were left unpaid. One of the worst incidents was when the cast and crew were left stranded because the production company was unable to deliver cars on time.
Yes, Ameesha wrote, “Bills were left unpaid and automobiles were not provided to certain cast and staff members leaving them stuck from lodging to transport to Chandigarh airport on the final day to meals! But yet again @zeestudios came in and addressed these errors caused by ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS!!!”
The actress appreciated Zed Studios for promptly resolving every issue. A special thanks to them, in particular to Shariq Patel, Neeraj Joshi, Kabeer Ghosh, and Nischit, she wrote in a tweet. This zed squad is excellent.
Gadar is scheduled to open in theatres on August 11. The movie is the follow-up to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The cast of Gadar 2 also features Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, and Luv Sinha.
