The prime minister also recommended that each state create a minimum of one tourism attraction that meets international standards and has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities.
He said, "States should develop at least one tourist destination per state at par with global standards and by providing all facilities and infrastructure - One State: One Global Destination. It would also lead to the development of the neighbouring cities as tourist places.”
He also stressed the importance of "growth, innovation, and sustainability" as the foundation for creating cities that are prepared for the future.
He said, "India is getting rapidly urbanised. We should work towards future-ready cities... We should have the aim of making each state viksit, each city viksit, each nagar palika viksit and each village viksit. If we work on these lines, we will not have to wait till 2047 to become Viksit Bharat,”
PM Modi addressed the importance of improving the delivery of health services and stated that a review of oxygen plant readiness and general preparedness is necessary to fight against any possible COVID-19-related issues.
According to PM Modi, India has become one of the world's top five economies and 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty. He highlighted the need to speed up this transformation for India.
