Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the "Ek Varsh-Parinaam Utkarsh" event in Rajasthan, accused the Congress of fostering water disputes between states and neglecting farmers’ welfare. Speaking to an eager crowd, Modi highlighted the BJP's achievements in the past year and shared plans to enhance agricultural development, ensuring better opprtunities for farmers in the future. 

Congress Accused of Creating Water Disputes

At the event, PM Modi claimed that Congress failed to resolve river disputes and instead promoted conflicts between states. “Congress has always worked to create divisions. They did nothing to solve the river water disputes between states and left farmers to suffer,” Modi said. He compared this with the BJP’s approach, emphasizing the party's commitment to promoting dialogue and finding solutions that benefit all stakeholders.

What the Event Achieved

The "Ek Varsh-Parinaam Utkarsh" event served as a platform to showcase the BJP-led government’s achievements over the last year. Modi highlighted key initiatives like enhanced irrigation projects, better water management, and welfare schemes that directly impact rural communities. He mentioned how BJP policies aim to ensure that “no farmer is left behind” and water resources are used more efficiently for agriculture and drinking purposes.

Focus on Future Plans for Farmers

PM Modi also shared his vision for the future, promising greater cooperation between states on river water-sharing agreements. He highlighted plans to use modern technology to optimize water distribution and improve irrigation. “Our aim is to ensure every drop of water is used for the progress of our farmers,” he said. The Prime Minister announced that new initiatives, like interlinking rivers, will soon be implemented to end disputes and bring success to farmers.

Highlighting the BJP’s commitment, Modi said, “We believe in dialogue, not disputes. It is through cooperation that we can build a stronger nation.” The Prime Minister emphasized that his government’s policies are geared toward ensuring harmony and unbiased distribution of resources.
