Together, they formed an impressive opening partnership, adding 80 runs in just 4.6 overs and helping the Royals post a challenging total of 150 for 3 in their shortened innings.

MI Drop to 23/3 Early

In response, the Mumbai Indians struggled right from the start. They lost three wickets in a chaotic powerplay, finishing the first three overs at a disheartening 23 for 3. In the end, the Mumbai Indians could only muster 116 runs in their 11 overs, falling short of their target.
