UGC NET June 2025 exam schedule declared; check details

New Delhi (India) June 7: The exam dates for the UGC NET June 2025 session have been formally changed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam will now take place from June 25 to June 29, 2025, as per the notice. The subject-by-subject schedule is now available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The website has made the entire schedule based on courses and shifts available to candidates taking the UGC NET June cycle. The test will cover 85 subjects and be administered as a computer-based test (CBT). The official website has the subject-by-subject schedule for the computer-based tests, which will be administered in two shifts each day. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be administered in two time slots: from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The test will be divided into two sections, each of which will include multiple-choice and objective-type questions. The papers will not be separated in any way. There will be 100-mark questions on Paper I and 200-mark questions on Paper II. With the exception of language papers, the question paper's medium will only be Hindi and English. Applicants must respond in the format specified by the option selected on the application form.

The exam city details will be made public by the NTA at least ten days before the exam date. This advance notice will give candidates enough time to arrange their transportation and travel.

The UGC NET 2025 admit card will also be available roughly ten days before the test date.

The NTA confirmed that candidates will be considered based on the criteria they have chosen for eligibility in Ph.D. programs, assistant professor posts and Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs).

Candidates are required to verify that all of the information on their admit card is accurate. The paper needs to be kept safe until the admissions and examination process is over.

The notification for the UGC NET 2025 June session was first made public on April 16, 2025 and the application period went from April 16 to May 12, 2025.

Candidates can download their admit card and check any news or changes by visiting the website ugcnet.nta.ac.in on a regular basis.
