Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] April 11: In a surprising turn of events, Puma reportedly offered Virat Kohli a lucrative deal worth ₹300 crore for the next 8 years, but the former Indian cricket captain reportedly declined the offer.

According to media reports, Kohli’s eight-year contract of ₹110 crore with Puma has come to an end, and he is set to join Agilitas as an investor, and an official announcement is expected to come amid IPL 2025.

Puma’s offer to Kohli was a testament to his enduring marketability and influence in the world of cricket. The deal, which would have made him one of the highest-paid athletes in India, was reportedly worth ₹300 crore over 8 years. This works out to approximately ₹37.5 crore per year, a staggering amount that few athletes can command.
