Who Should Lead BJP In Telangana? Raja Singh’s Exit Raises Strong Questions
Telangana BJP MLA T Raja Singh resigns after Ramchander Rao’s appointment as state president, calling it a betrayal to loyal workers. He continues to support Hindutva but says BJP needs stronger local leadership. His resignation adds tension to Telangana BJP's future.

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 30: T Raja Singh, BJP MLA from Goshamahal, resigned after hearing the news of N Ramchander Rao’s likely appointment as Telangana BJP president. He wrote to BJP’s state chief, calling the move a big shock. He shared that not only he, but many loyal workers and supporters of the party were deeply upset. His words pointed at frustration that had been building silently within the Telangana unit for some time.
Disappointment Among Loyal Workers
In his letter, Singh mentioned how several senior leaders, MPs, and MLAs had worked day and night for the party’s growth. He felt that one of them should have been trusted with the responsibility of leading Telangana BJP. He spoke about the workers who stood with the party in every situation. According to him, ignoring them in such a key decision hurt the emotions of lakhs of ground-level supporters.
Still Committed To Hindutva Path
Even after quitting BJP, Singh clearly said that his loyalty to Hindutva remains untouched. He will continue to support the Hindu community. He also made it clear that he will raise his voice for their welfare. He added that he may have left the party. But not the ideology. His words showed that he plans to stay active in public life. It also shows that he will serve his people, especially in Goshamahal, with even more dedication.
Voicing Problems He Faced In Party
Raja Singh also opened up about the problems he had been facing inside BJP since joining in 2014. He claimed that his constituency was targeted and he himself was attacked within the party. He reminded that the party had a strong chance to win Telangana, but it must be careful in choosing state-level leaders who connect with the local people and speak up on key issues.
Past Controversies Add To Tension
Raja Singh has been always known for his bold and controversial statements. In April this year, two cases were filed against him. It was filed for using offensive language and threatening police during a Ram Navami procession. His public image has often brought him both support and criticism. But this sudden resignation shows that beyond public noise, there were long-standing issues inside the party that were never resolved properly.
