AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi slams Pakistan over a fake picture of Operation Bunyan
Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif and army chief Asim Munir were criticised by Asaduddin Owaisi for presenting a fake image of a Chinese military exercise to present their own win over India.

New Delhi (India) May 27: Asaduddin Owaisi, an AIMIM MP, mocked Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and army chief Asim Munir for using a false "Operation Bunyan" photograph by saying that it "requires brains to copy." He suggested Pakistan's statements should not be taken seriously, not even treated “not even with a pinch of salt”.
An image of the Pakistani prime minister and field marshal, Gen. Asim Munir, holding a picture of a military operation "Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos" went viral on social media receiving this response. The image that was presented was of a Chinese rocket artillery training in 2019.
Owaisi said, " Yesterday, the Pakistani Army chief gifted a photo to the Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif...these stupid jokers want to compete with India, they had given a photograph of a 2019 Chinese Army drill claiming it is a victory over India. This is what Pakistan indulges in...'Nakal karne ke liye akal chahiye'...inke pass akal bhi nahi hai'...whatever Pakistan is saying, do not take even with a pinch of salt.”
In an attempt to promote Pakistan's propaganda of declaring a military win over India, Mr. Munir recently gave Mr. Sharif the memento, which had a painting that looked similar to the Chinese military exercises. The ceremony was attended by top military and political figures which included President Asif Ali Zardari and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
India has released a number of images and videos detailing its actions against Pakistan. But in an attempt to claim a victory they would never have, Munir's team used an old picture of Chinese military drills.
Owaisi has also argued strongly for Pakistan to be placed back on the FATF grey list and stated that Pakistan needs to be subject to more strict financial oversight because it may use the $2 billion IMF loan to fund its terrorist and military organisations.
Owaisi said, "Pakistan must be brought back in the FATF grey list. The importance of the FATF grey list is that there will be huge scrutiny on that nation when you do money transactions.”
"It is a fact that Pakistan uses the Middle East hawala or money laundering to sponsor terror groups against India bringing Pakistan in FATF is very important because the 2 billion loan which the IMF is giving will be used by the Pakistani military.”
Owaisi also highlighted that India has a greater Muslim population and because of which Pakistan cannot use religious problems to attack India.
India-Pakistan ties reached a low point on April 22, when terrorists killed 26 innocent tourists. The Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi has criticised Pakistani leaders for their involvement in terror activities against India after the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
