Ceasefire After Drone Clash: Using Which Weapons India Protected Its Borders
When Drones Crossed Borders, India Raised Its Shield

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 10: For four days, people in Jammu and Kashmir heard buzzing in the sky, not of birds but of machines. Pakistan sent many armed drones, trying to harm India. Our defence system, especially the powerful S-400, shot down most of them. Even after a ceasefire was announced, drones came again. Explosions were heard, but brave soldiers stayed alert to protect our land and people.
How India Fought the Attacks
India used some of its finest weapons to protect its borders. The S-400 air defence system, Akash missiles, and Rafale jets stood ready. We also used smart weapons like Scalp missiles and Hammer bombs. To target drones, India sent sensor-fitted kamikaze drones that crashed into enemy drones. The Barak-8 system and anti-drone tech played a big role in saving lives along the border.
The Role of Pakistan’s Weapons
Pakistan mainly used Turkish-made drones and Chinese missiles. Their JF-17 fighter jets tried to target areas in Jammu and Kashmir. But most attacks failed due to India’s strong defence system. Every time Pakistan tried to cross the line, our systems reacted quickly. These four days showed how important it is to stay ready in such times.
Strong Message from Indian Leaders
India’s leaders stayed firm. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar clearly said India will never bow down to terrorism. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri called out the ceasefire break by Pakistan. India’s message was strong: peace is welcome, but not at the cost of safety. The country showed unity, and the border towns stood with the army, proud and fearless.
