Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visits the Bhuj Air base; uploads soldiers on the success of Operation Sindoor
During his visit, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasised the strategic and historical significance of Bhuj Air Base in India's defence against Pakistan.

New Delhi (India) May 16: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the Indian Air Force's reliability and quickness during Operation Sindoor in an inspiring address at the Bhuj Air Force on Friday. He said the operation displayed India's military power to the world and quickly put an end to terrorism coming from Pakistan.
The air force completed their mission in twenty-three minutes and was appreciated by the defence minister.
He said,“Whatever you did during Operation Sindoor has made all Indians proud — whether they are in India or abroad. The Indian Air Force needed just 23 minutes to dismantle the terror infrastructure nurtured in Pakistan.”
"You did an outstanding job in Operation Sindoor. You have made India proud in from of the entire world. That's why I am here."
He also added,“Bhuj was witness to our victory against Pakistan in 1965, and today again it has been witness to our victory against Pakistan... I feel proud to be present here."
Rajnath Singh delivered the speech while standing in front of an S-125 Pechora surface-to-air missile system and a Jaguar deep-penetration strike fighter plane. A number of long-range strike missions against Pakistan were launched from the Bhuj IAF station.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has been urged by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to reconsider its $2.1 billion loan to indebted Pakistan because it allows terrorists to use its territory to carry out state-sponsored attacks against Indian nationals.
“Any financial assistance to Pakistan is actually terror funding. The IMF should reconsider its decision."
The Pakistani military last week targeted many installations, including the Bhuj air force base in Gujarat.
Singh's visit comes after his visit to Srinagar Air Base,Jammu & Kashmir yesterday where he assessed the overall state of security along the international border and Line of Control.
