Delhi to Paris Flight Cancelled Again? Air India Faces Fresh Safety Delay

After Ahmedabad crash, Air India flights continue to be cancelled across India.

Delhi to Paris Flight Cancelled Again? Air India Faces Fresh Safety Delay

New Delhi (Delhi) [India], June 17:  Air India’s flight AI143 from Delhi to Paris was cancelled on June 17 after safety checks found a technical issue. The airline cancelled it due to strict night-time rules at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. The crew acted early, avoiding any possible risks. Passengers were given hotel stays and options for a refund or new booking. The return flight, AI142 from Paris, was also cancelled.

Second Cancellation on Same Day Worries Flyers

This is not the only flight that didn’t take off that day. Earlier, a flight from Ahmedabad to London (AI159) was also cancelled. The reason given was unavailability of the aircraft. The aircraft was not ready because it needed extra time for checks and maintenance. This extra care comes after the Ahmedabad crash. Passengers are feeling confused, even if safety is being taken seriously.

Airlines Facing Delays, Not Just Air India Alone

After the deadly Ahmedabad plane crash, not only Air India but other major airlines also faced issues. British Airways and Lufthansa had to turn their planes back due to warnings and technical problems. A flight from Hong Kong to Delhi came back 15 minutes after take-off due to a snag. It’s a tough time for both airlines and passengers as caution takes the front seat.

What Caused This Sudden String of Cancellations?

The turning point was the Ahmedabad crash, where 270 people died, including a former Chief Minister. It shook the aviation system deeply. Since then, strict checks have become normal. Even a small glitch means the flight will not fly. The airline is trying to protect lives, but repeated cancellations are troubling passengers who expect better planning and smoother journeys.

Passengers Are Tired, But Officials Say Safety First

People are now scared and angry. Many have had to cancel plans, miss meetings, or wait long hours. But Air India officials say it is all about saving lives. They are making sure no aircraft leaves without full checks. In the past, smaller issues were overlooked. But after a major loss like Ahmedabad, the mindset has changed. Flyers must now choose between comfort or safety.
