Famous psychologist and author: Daniel Kahneman, decided to end his own life
Famous psychologist Daniel Kahneman takes the decision to end his life with peace

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] March 15: One of the most influential mindin the world, Kahneman was a Princeton University psychologist, the 2002 winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics, and the author of the 2011 global ranked book "Thinking, Fast and Slow."
Kahneman was born in Tel Aviv, British Mandate of Palestine (now Israel), on March 5, 1934. He was born in Paris but after the death of his father in 1944, he & his mother and sister moved to Palestine.
He completed his PhD in 1961 after studying psychology from Hebrew University & the University of California. Kahneman's work on making decisions in the face of uncertainty led to the development of prospect theory, a new area of economics.
Daniel Kahneman, a famous psychologist, chose to commit suicide in Switzerland & informed his close friends about it. He thought life's downsides would rival its advantages. His decision was very personal and not meant to be a public announcement, but some people think it was in conformity with his study.
Based on a Wall Street Journal story, Daniel Kahneman, a psychologist and Nobel Laureate who is best known for his studies on behavioural economics and the psychology of judging and decision-making, decided to take his own life.
As per the study, which was made public on Friday, Kahneman wrote friends just before he committed sucide in March of last year to inform them that he was deciding to take his own life in Switzerland.
"I am acting on my belief that the pain and insults of the final years of life are unimportant, which I believed since I was a youngster. He said, "I like to change my mind, but most people hate it." It indicates that I've gained knowledge. before Kahneman's flight to Switzerland, read the email he sent to his friend.
Only close friends and family were informed that he passing away at an assisted suicide clinic in Switzerland last year, while the rest of the world was in morning. According to the publication, "some are still struggling to come to terms with his decision."
"I am not shamed by my choice, but I am also not interested in making it a public statement," he wrote in his final email. As nobody wants the cause of death to be the main topic of the death notices, the family will want to keep it as low as possible. Please avoid discussing it for a few days.
The outstanding research of Kahneman
Kahneman, however, disagree with this view of reason. In addition, he rejected the idea that people lack reason. Rather, he claimed that "they are tense, emotional, and easily duped—most readily, by themselves… According to the newspaper, he stated that people are just human and not crazy nor acceptable.
His choice to end his life
"Some of Kahneman's friends believe that what he did was consistent with his own research," the WSJ report said. According to University of Pennsylvania psychologist Philip Tetlock, "he was a lot smarter than most of us right to the end." However, I can't read minds. My best guess is that he felt that his physical and mental health were failing. And he expected life to get less enjoyable since he truly wanted to enjoy it. He likely performed a histrionic calculus of when life's burdens would start to outweigh the benefits, and he likely expected a major decline around his early 90s. Danny's death was the most well-planned. As per his friends and family, Kahneman's choice was completely personal; he did not wish to be seen as favouring assisted suicide for other people and didn't support it for anybody else.
Before he went for Switzerland, a few of his friends were aware of his plans. They tried to convince him to don't do this , but he wasn't agree to change his mind. In fact, a friend asked him to stop with such force but he didn't agree.
"I realised after making the decision that I am not afraid of not being alive, and I think of death as going to sleep and not waking up," he said in his last email." : Apart from face the suffering I put on others, the past time hasn't been extremely challenging. So don't feel sorry for me if you were inspired to do so," the article said.
"Thank you for helping me in good good aspects of my life."
