India Dismisses Pakistan's Civilian Death Claim in Strike

New Delhi (Delhi) [India] May 08: After the April 22 attack in Pahalgam where 26 innocent lives were lost, India carried out a strong military action under ‘Operation Sindoor’. The operation targeted nine terror sites across the border. These strikes were planned carefully to destroy places used by terrorists. India made it clear that only terrorist camps were hit, not any public places or homes. This move was seen as India’s clear message that violence will not be accepted and that those responsible will not go unpunished.

Funeral with Pakistani flags raises doubts

A surprising picture came from Muridke, near Lahore, where three terrorists were buried. What made it strange was that their coffins were wrapped in Pakistan's national flag. The people attending the funeral included Pakistani army officers and known members of Jamaat-ud-Dawah, a banned terror-linked group. This has raised questions. If those killed were just civilians, why were they buried with full honours like national heroes? This event has made the whole situation more serious and complicated.

India shows strong proof at press meeting

At a press meeting held by the Ministry of External Affairs, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri showed pictures of the funeral. He asked why so-called civilians were being buried with such respect. He explained that all targets hit on May 7 were related to terrorism. These were not random places but had strong links to previous attacks in India. His question was simple – do countries give such honours to common people, or were they clearly militants being honoured by the state?

Pakistan’s claim of temple attack denied

Pakistan also claimed that India had attacked some religious sites. But India strongly denied this. Mr. Misri clearly said that none of the targets were religious places. Instead, he said it is Pakistan that is misusing religious buildings. According to him, such places are used to train and guide terrorists secretly. India says it only hit terror-linked buildings, and not any place where normal people pray or live peacefully. This claim by Pakistan was called “completely false” by India.

Terrorist funerals attended by government staff

Reports also say that apart from army men, Pakistan's government officers were present at the funeral of the terrorists. Even the prayer leader was someone linked to a banned organisation. The gathering was under tight security. This is not something that happens for normal people. This entire funeral shows a deeper connection. It gives rise to questions about how the system in Pakistan treats terrorists. When terrorists are given respect like this, the world has every reason to worry.
