A 22-year-old lady was allegedly raped by an unidentified man who entered her Pune flat while pretending to be a courier service executive.

New Delhi (India) July 3: An unknown guy acting as a courier delivery professional is accused of raping a 22-year-old woman in her house on Wednesday night in the Kondhwa area of Pune.
Police claim that after asking the woman for a pen so she could sign a document, the accused turned around and went inside the flat. Then he closed the door and locked it.
According to Rajkumar Shinde, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 5), the woman cannot remember what happened next. Around 8:30 p.m., she regained consciousness and told her family, who notified the police.
He said, "The woman does not remember anything (further) as she gained consciousness around 8:30 p.m. The woman then informed her relatives and subsequently police were alerted."

The event took place in the city's Kondhwa neighbourhood on Wednesday at approximately 7:30 p.m. The woman's brother was out of town, so she was alone in the flat. She works for a private company.
