Shocking: Newlywed Bride Named Aanchal Mysteriously Disappears From Moving Train In Bihar

Bihar (India) July 1: A woman named Aanchal traveling from Teghra Begusarai district, Bihar to Laheriasarai Darbhanga suddenly went missing from a train. Her husband, Sumit Kumar, filed a complaint at the Laheriasarai Railway Police Station, stating that on June 28, 2025, he and his wife, Aanchal Kumari, boarded the Howrah-Jaynagar train from Teghra station. When the train was reaching Samastipur station, the wife Aanchal said that she was going to the bathroom but she never returned.

Sumit revealed that he took a small snap for a while. After he woke up, he started searching for his wife but he was unable to find her. While searching for her, he even went near the bathroom area but she wasn’t even there too. Than he searched for her in the entire coach but couldn’t find her. By then, the train had reached Laheriasarai. He got off at the station and searched further, but still couldn’t find her.

Sumit tried calling his wife’s mobile phone, but it was switched off. He has provided the mobile number to the police. He stated that they got married on May 18, 2025, in Begusarai district, and had been living together for the past one and a half months. Sumit also revealed that there was no information or suspicion of any romantic involvement with anyone else.

Sumit has submitted an application at the police station but has received no update so far. Meanwhile, Aanchal’s mother, Prabha Devi, said her daughter was traveling with her husband to Laheriasarai to visit her father, who recently underwent heart surgery.

According to her, Aanchal got separated from her husband after saying she needed to use the bathroom near Samastipur. When she didn’t return for a long time, Sumit went to check near the bathroom. Initially, the bathroom was locked, and later found open, but Aanchal was nowhere to be seen. He searched the entire coach thinking she might have gone to another one. When she was not found even at Laheriasarai station, the family grew increasingly worried.

The family has contacted all relatives and but no information has come forward. An application has been submitted to the Government Railway Police (GRP). Aanchal’s mother has requested that her daughter be found and brought back as soon as possible. She added that her daughter’s phone is switched off, likely due to lack of balance. They even tried reaching her via WhatsApp call, but were unsuccessful. The couple had left Teghra for Laheriasarai early that morning at 5 AM. Since then, there has been no trace of Aanchal, leaving the family deeply distressed.
