NFSU’s contribution to solving the problem of “Deep Fake” will be significant: Shri Rajat Sharma

New Delhi [India], September 27: National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, organised a special talk by India TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Shri Rajat Sharma on the topic “My Life: My Story” on September 27, 2025. He was warmly welcomed by “Padma Shri” awardee, NFSU Vice Chancellor, Dr. J.M. Vyas. Shri Rajat Sharma visited various Centres of Excellence of NFSU and observed the work being done in the national interest. He also had a Q&A with the students.

Shri Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of India TV, said in his speech that in the era of social media, “Fake News” and “Deep Fake” have become a matter of concern, because people who are not educated cannot distinguish between right and wrong. At such a time, the contribution of the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in solving the problem of such fake videos and creating awareness in society will be significant.

Shri Rajat Sharma, in response to a question, said that the show “Aap Ki Adalat” has been running for 32 consecutive years. If this show has received the most viewers, it is the 2014 pre-election interview with Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji.

I have not seen anyone who is as responsive as Shri Narendra Modi ji. He did everything he said. We have to learn from their life that we should never give up amidst struggles and challenges.

Shri Rajat Sharma said that I thank the Senior-most Forensic Expert, NFSU’s Vice Chancellor, Dr J.M. Vyas, for inviting me here to interact with the students. Some of the important things from my life are that nature’s plans are different from our plans. Even amidst struggles and challenges, if you continue to do your duty with honest hard work, then no one can stop you from succeeding.

On this occasion, Executive Registrar Shri C.D. Jadeja expressed his gratitude. In this special conversation, NFSU-Gandhinagar Campus Director, Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare; NFSU-Delhi Campus Director, Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhriyal; NFSU-Goa Campus Director, Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Choudhary, along with Deans and Associate Deans of various schools, were also present.
