Sheetal Devi Wins Gold at Para World Archery Championship and Makes India Proud
At the Para World Archery Championship, Sheetal Devi took home the gold in the women's compound individual competition.

New Delhi (India) September 28: India's Sheetal Devi extended her incredible run at the Para World Archery Championships. She won a gold medal in the women's compound individual category in Gwangju. She defeated Oznur Cure Girdi. She is a top-ranked archer from Turkiye.
Three Medals in One Championship
With this victory, Sheetal has won three medals at the competition. She and Toman Kumar had previously defeated Nathan MacQueen and Jodie Grinham of Great Britain 152-149. They won a mixed team bronze. Sheetal and Sarita lost to Turkiye in the final of the compound women's open team competition. They still took home silver.

He has congratulated Indian Paralympic athlete Sheetal Devi on winning the World Para Archery Championship silver medal. He also posts a photo of both of them together. Dominant Performance in the Finals
Sheetal maintained her control during the tight struggle that was the singles final. The first round was tied at 29-29. She scored a hat-trick of 10s in the second end to take the lead and win that end 30-27. The third end was again tied at 29-29. Sheetal held a 116-114 lead despite losing the fourth end by a single point. She put on an amazing display in the pivotal final end. She sealed gold with three arrows for thirty.
The archer from Jammu and Kashmir advanced to the final by defeating Jodie Grinham of Great Britain 145-140 earlier in the semifinals.
Indian armless archer Sheetal Devi is eighteen years old. She uses her chin and feet to shoot. This was her third championship medal.
