Operation Sindoor: India Hits Back at China, Pakistan Over Lies
Officials in Delhi asked them to check facts before spreading such news.

Mumbai(Maharashtra)[India] May 07: The Chinese news outlet, Global Times, said that Pakistan Air Force shot down an Indian jet. India quickly responded, saying this is not true. Officials in Delhi asked them to check facts before spreading such news. This message was shared by India’s embassy in China. They said media must be careful, or people may believe wrong things.
Operation Sindoor: What Really Happened
India said it had carried out an airstrike to stop another terrorist attack. It was called Operation Sindoor. Some Pakistani sources told media that Indian jets were hit during this. But India showed proof that no such thing happened. Photos used in news reports were old and not from this operation.
Fake Photos and False News Circulated Online
The Indian embassy said that some fake photos were used in reports. These were from past accidents, not from this month. One picture was from a MiG-29 crash in Rajasthan last year. Another was from a MiG-21 crash in Punjab in 2021. Yet, they were shown as current. India’s fact-check team found out the truth and explained it online.
Terror Attack in Pahalgam Sparked Action
The attack on tourists in Pahalgam was the main reason India acted. Armed men targeted people based on religion. Many were killed, even a tourist from Nepal. It was one of the deadliest attacks in recent years. The group behind it, called TRF, is linked to a banned group named Lashkar-e-Taiba. India gave this report to the UN too.
India's Clear Stand Against Terrorism
India said it had no choice but to respond. Its goal was to stop more attacks and break terror camps. India made it clear: it will act when needed, but only in a careful and fair way. The world was asked to take terrorism seriously and not believe every news unless it is verified.
