Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] December 9 : Prime Minister Modi underscored the world’s excitement about India’s growth trajectory, crediting the government’s mantra of "Reform-Perform-Transform." Speaking at the Rising Rajasthan Summit in Jaipur, he noted, “The mantra of Reform-Perform-Transform made India exciting to every industrialist and investor across the world. It was clearly visible in every sector and their developments.” 

 India's Rapid Economic Leap

“India was the 10th largest economy of the world in 2014… We took only 10 years to make it the 5th largest one in the world,” stated Modi emphasizing the ascent of Indian economy. He attributed this success to a decade of accelerated growth in exports and infrastructure.

Digital Growth Revolution

PM Modi praised India’s massive progress in digitalisation, emphasizing its role in empowering citizens. “Despite having a massive demography, India has achieved a massive growth in digitalisation. The number of internet users has quadrupled in the last ten years,” he said, spotlighting India’s leadership in digital democratisation.

Rajasthan’s Unique Development Model

Lauding Rajasthan’s achievements under Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Modi commended the state’s balanced approach. “Rajasthan’s development mantra is ‘Vikaas Bhi aur Virasat Bhi.’ Facing any challenge is the character of this state,” he said, adding that the BJP-led state government’s year-long efforts were evident in its holistic progress.

Pioneering Renewable Energy and Minerals

The Prime Minister highlighted Rajasthan’s critical role in India’s self-reliance and energy security. “Large parts of India’s mineral reserves are in Rajasthan… These were the strong foundation of self-reliant India,” he said. Modi also praised the state’s contribution to renewable energy, noting, “India had set a target of creating 500 GW renewable energy capacity… Rajasthan is playing a great role in this too with many of India’s largest solar parks being built here.”

The PM’s address reflected optimism, vision, and a strong endorsement of India’s path toward becoming a global leader in every sector.
