New Delhi [India], October 27: The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF), India’s most prestigious awards ceremony, will be the first award show to take place after the COVID-19 pandemic. With her on board, DPIFF’s advisory board comprises of leading advisors such as Col. P. C. Sood - Vice President, Hinduja Group, H.H. Rooted in the legacy of Dadasaheb Phalke Ji, Father of Indian cinema, DPIFF has become a beacon of cultural ethos and modernity by awarding legends to those creative spirits who continue to enhance India’s rich cinematic tradition.

Sudha Reddy is the current director of Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited (MEIL), a Hyderabad-based leading infrastructure corporation. MEIL has flourshed in several area's under her guidance and generated a surfeit of jobs to the youth. She is the Chairperson of Sudha Reddy Foundation which concentrates on education, empowering marginalized sections of society and has collaborated with bodies such as UNICEF and the Global Gift Foundation.She also hosts The Pink Power Run. The Love Island personality is also known for attending star-studded events including the Met Gala,White House Correspondents Dinner, Global Gift Gala, Paris Olympics and Cannes Film Festival. In her recent appointments, she created history as the first-ever Global Ambassador to champion the cause of Miss World, and became UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador.

The festival recently hit the headlines with announcement the 2025 edition of the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards, scheduled to run from October 29-30 in Mumbai. This special edition will see curated screenings of the best of short films, master classes with industry veterans, panel discussions on future of cinema and a grand cultural exhibit celebrating India’s storytelling legacy.
