Viral Video of Bengaluru's ₹25,000 Rent Flat Shocks Internet, Claustrophobics Beware
Social media has been shocked by a Bengaluru man's viral Instagram video showing off his extremely tiny flat, which he pays for 25,000 a month.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] February 10: Growing rents and shrinking spaces are nothing new in Bengaluru, but a recent Instagram video of a flat tour has taken over the internet. A man in the popular video shows off his small one-bedroom flat, which costs an unbelievable 25,000 a month.
At the start of the video, the man is seen standing in the middle of the space, his arms stretched wide. He highlights the flat's limited size by touching both walls at once in a hilarious demonstration. He then uses his feet to touch one wall and his hand to reach for the other wall to show how long the room is.
Another surprise is the balcony, a little area barely large enough for one person to stand uncomfortably. "Bhut fayde hai itne chote room ka—saman nahi le paaoge toh paisa bachega, kyunki loge toh rakhoge kaha?" the man mockingly says, adding a funny twist. (The upside of having such a little space is that you can't buy things, so you'll save money because you won't have anywhere to put them.)
The internet responded rapidly, with users flooding smart thoughts into the comments section. As one user put it, "Isse bada toh mera toilet hai," "Ye toh shuru hote hi khatam ho gaya," said another.

A user wrote, “Come to Mumbai”
"Pune Aisa hi jayega..and population aise hi badhti rahi toh saare cities same ho jayegi," said another. "Mumbai bhi same hai."
A video that went viral last year showed a small flat in Mumbai with a washing machine on a toilet, showing the city's extreme space shortages and skyrocketing rents. The internet took notice of yet another odd flat in the Maximum City.
This one-bedroom flat in Matunga had a small living area, a bedroom with a bed that took up most of the space, and a small kitchen. The loft, which gave extra storage space in the otherwise small house, was reached via a tiny staircase from the sitting room. The monthly rent for the home was ₹45,000.
