She had come from Delhi on June 22 to enjoy Udaipur’s beauty and was staying at a hotel in the Ambamata area. On Monday night, she joined a few people at The Greek Farm Café. Among them was a man she didn’t know — who later lured her to his flat under the pretext of charging her phone.
Trust That Led to Trauma
The man, identified as Pushparaj Ojha alias Siddharth, offered to drop her at her hotel. But instead of taking her back safely, he drove her to his apartment. The woman was unaware of his intentions and agreed to step inside briefly. Once inside, she said he forced himself on her. She kept asking to go back, and he only dropped her at her hotel at around 6 in the morning.
