Did Jitendra Patwari Bribe Villager To Claim He Was Fed Excreta At BJP MLA’s Behest?
Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitendra Patwari faces a police case after a man alleged he was bribed to falsely claim he was fed human excreta. Patwari shared a viral video blaming BJP leaders, but the man later said the statement was made on Patwari’s request.

Madhya Pradesh (MP) [India] June 28: A villager, in a signed affidavit, claimed Congress leaders took him to meet MP Congress chief Jitendra Patwari. He says Jitendra Patwari asked him to allege that the local sarpanch forced him to eat human excreta. The villager also said he was offered money to repeat the claim publicly.
Jitendra Patwari Shared Shocking Video
On June 25, Jitendra Patwari posted an eight‑minute video on X showing two men crying. They alleged the sarpanch’s supporters forced excreta on them when they sought ration slips. Jitendra Patwari tagged Prime Minister and BJP‑led MP government, saying power was crossing limits and asking why BJP hates Dalits and tribals.
Police Intervene With Counter Claim
MP police filed a case against Jitendra Patwari under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). They reported the villager later recanted, saying the allegations were made at Jitendra Patwari’s request. SP Vineet Kumar Jain confirmed that false claims were made and noted that Jitendra Patwari and his aides are now under investigation.
Jitendra Patwari Responds To Action
Jitendra Patwari welcomed the case, saying he will continue to speak up for oppressed farmers and Dalits. He urged the opposition to act responsibly on reported atrocities and for the government to respond positively. He criticised state law and order and said raising voice was his duty, not wrongdoing.
Political Row Escalates In MP
The incident has ignited a major political row in Madhya Pradesh. Jitendra Patwari named BJP MLA Brijendra Yadav as responsible. BJP denies the claim. The clash shines spotlight on caste tensions, political rivalry, and the use of damaging evidence in public campaigns. MP remains in controversy.
