The reference came during the Budget Session. Rahul used a magazine article that carried parts of the manuscript. The mention was meant to counter claims that Congress lacks patriotism. His memoir titled Four Stars of Destiny was expected to release in 2024 & some excerpts appeared in late 2023 through media reports. Pre orders briefly opened an online platforms. Later, the book was withheld. Reports say government clearance is pending. The book covers India China border tensions and leadership decisions. This history made the reference sensitive. Experts. say military memoirs often face delays due to security concerns.
