3 July 2023, Mumbai: Mrunal Thakur, the talented Bollywood actress, has recently unveiled her first look from the highly anticipated Telugu film tentatively titled Nani30. The picture showcases Mrunal walking gracefully along a picturesque beach, donning a beautiful blue saree and adorned with traditional jewellery. Her barefoot stride and infectious smile hint at the enchanting narrative that awaits in Nani30.
Just a day before, Nani, the renowned Telugu actor, had shared a captivating image on Instagram. The photo depicted him sitting amidst cows on lush green grass, seemingly captured at a high-altitude location. Nani simply captioned it “July” accompanied by a cow emoji, leaving fans intrigued about this snapshot from his upcoming film.
Nani30 marks Mrunal Thakur’s second venture in the Telugu film industry, following her successful debut in “Sita Ramam,” opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Furthermore, Mrunal has also signed on for a third Telugu film alongside the charismatic Vijay Devarakonda. The yet-to-be-titled movie is being helmed by director Parasuram Petla and produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Interestingly, Nani30 will reunite Mrunal with her co-star from the anthology film “Lust Stories 2,” Angad Bedi. The segment directed by R. Balki explored the significance of lust and sex in fostering successful relationships. In the upcoming film, Mrunal portrays a soon-to-be-wedded woman humorously confronted by her grandmother, played by the talented Neena Gupta, about her perceived “lust quotient” with her future partner, portrayed by Angad Bedi. This dynamic promises to add depth to the compelling narrative of Nani30.
The shooting for Nani30 commenced in Hyderabad in January this year, with the entire cast and crew gathering for the auspicious “mahurat” scene. Expressing her excitement about the project, Mrunal shared, “I am delighted and thrilled to be part of this project. It is a really touching story, and the team behind it is really talented. I am looking forward to working with Nani. It is an interesting twist, considering I did the remake of Jersey last year, a movie Nani originally starred in.”
Produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM), Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala, and Murthy K S, Nani30 boasts Hesham Abdul Wahab as the music director. The film is being skillfully directed by Shouryuv.
