17th November 2023, Mumbai: Author – Philanthropist Sudha Murthy and Infosys Founder NR Narayana Murthy became grandparents again last week as their son Rohan shares these news with her lovely wife Aparna Krishnan. They both welcomed a baby boy on 10th November 2023, Bengaluru. This newborn was the third grandchild of the Murthy’s.
Rohan And Aparna Give Name To The Newborn
The newborn baby boy in Murthy’s family was born in Bengaluru on 10th November 2023. The baby boy has been named ‘Ekagrah’. This is the Sanskrit word denoting unwavering focus and determination. Well, the Murthy family was reportedly inspired by Arjuna’s Ekagrah in Mahabharat.
The name also appears in Bhagavad Gita’s six chapters, which focuses on yoga and meditation; it also means self-realization.

Rohan Murthy married Aparna Krishnan in Bangalore in 2019. He was studying for a PhD in computer science from Harvard University. Rohan co-founded Soroco with Arjun Narayan and George Nychis in 2014. Soroco works in a graph company to discover how the world works to help teams be their best.
He has offices in Seattle, London and Bengaluru. Rohan Murthy founded a Murthy classical library in India which aims to reintroduce Indian literary works to the next generation in 2010.

Aparna Krishnan studying at An Alumnus of Dartmouth College. She was GM(Operations) at Soroco for four years. Currently, she was head of Murthy media which has partnered with Cosmos Maya to grow Sudha Murthy’s works in an animated series. “Story Time With Sudha Amma”.
Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murthy have two other grandchildren Krishna and Anoushka, daughter of Akshata Murthy and British prime minister Rishi Sunak. Recently Sudha Murthy has often spoken fondly of the two young girls and has even dedicated her recent books for children to them.
